Lions Club of Colombo Plaza with club ID- 65384 established on May 28, 2002, extended by Lion M. Amirthanayagam MJF MAF from the Lions Club of Colombo Circle, with Lion Ravichandran Fernando MJF serving as the Charter President.

The Lions Club of Colombo Plaza has been a beacon of service and community impact. Over the years, the club has undertaken numerous projects and initiatives aimed at addressing various social needs, including health camps, blood donation drives, educational programs, and environmental conservation projects. Additionally, the club has been actively involved in disaster relief efforts, providing aid and support to affected communities during times of crisis.

Through these endeavors, the club Became a Champion Club in both 2016-17 and 2021-22 and achieved the Second Runner-up position in 2022-23. With a current membership of 103 members, including 35 family units, the Lions Club of Colombo Plaza continues to foster a strong sense of camaraderie and fellowship among its members while remaining steadfast in its commitment to serving humanity and making a meaningful difference in the world.
